Parksville Beach Festival

What a day! Kites flying, Sandcastles being built, people on the beach and in the water! Parksville has a lovely Boardwalk almost 1/2 way around the bay. We walked along the Boardwalk watching the kites and the mountains in the distance. On the way back, we could see some snow on the mountains that run down the middle of Vancouver Island.
