We left Cape Haze, on the Southwest side of Florida and drove over to West Palm Beach, on the Southeast side of Florida. We took the Old Florida Highway, #29, and went through sugar cane fields and then past Lake Okachobee. It was a very quiet drive and we were at our hotel by 1:30 PM.
We went to vist George's Aunt Terry and Uncle John. She had baked all sorts of goodies for us and then they took us out to dinner. It was interesting to hear about her side of the family and some of the trials and tribulations that brought them to North America.
