The morning was spent cleaning last minute things and then packing the car. Then we said goodbye to some neighbours and were on our way. The drive through the mountains was spectacular, with lots of red and yellow leaves. We had bright sun and no snow, though there was snow on some of the peaks.
We caught the 5:00 ferry to Nanaimo and then we found the rain!!!!! I guess that was our welcome to Nanaimo! We are booked into a hotel for the night and meet the movers early tomorrow morning.
The saga continues tomorrow and hopefully there will be some pictures.
